It was a pleasure to interview Jude, who is one of the most talented guitarists on this great island of ours. Acid Age play an exciting brand of Thrash/Technical Death Metal which is mixed with Jazz Fusion and a few other styles as well. The trio released a brand new album in 2021 titled "Semper Pessimus", which is a concept album based around Nero, the last emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. Acid Age have a strong back catalog of releases dating back to their first E.P in 2013 and are really looking forward to touring "Semper Pessimus" around Ireland and further afield. My co-host Joe from Gama Bomb and Jude have shared stages together so there was plenty of stories about the Metal Scene both here and in the North.
