UFC Fight Night: Costa vs. Vettori is coming up this weekend, and in the main event Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori, the two most recent Middleweight title contenders, fight each other to try and get another shot at the champ. We preview the card in the first half of this week's show. Then in the second half of the show, we discuss the week in MMA news, including Conor McGregor vs. an Italian DJ, Jon Jones leaving Jackson-Winklejohn, the release of Luis Pena, Fedor vs. Johnson, and the results of UFC Fight Night: Ladd vs. Dumont.

Finally, in our Hammer History segment, we look back 500 episodes to mid-December 2011, including Alistair Overeem's testing issues, Mir breaking Nogueira's arm, and Miguel Torres being fired from the UFC for an insensitive tweet.
