With more than 50 years’ experience in the retail industry, I know that the current retail environment is the most challenging, but also the most exciting we’ve known. In the late 1980's I introduced retailer/supplier partnering, a process we refer to today as Collaborative Business Planning. In 1990 I was recognized as one of the original architects of category management, introducing the concept to the U.S. market in 1990. In recent years I have been the one to recognize the need to build upon the 30 year old category management approach with the introduction of the new Shopper-Centric Retailing Business model and its core component, Shopper Solutions Planning. In today's environment where the store, the shopping experience and the shopper are now the primary focus, the need to move forward with Shopper-Centric Retailing is undeniable. Our new Shopper-Centric Retailing business model is endorsed by the Food Industry Association.

Adding to the above is our industry leading Shopper Solutions Planning Change Enablement Training , a new approach to training that adds the necessary competencies to foundational skills, enabling the shopper-focused solutions necessary to win in our constantly evolving retail environment.

I am committed to continue leading industry thinking in areas such as organization redesign, advanced business process design, collaborative business planning, and leveraging an unparalleled understanding of the retail industry and interrelationship between retailers and CPG manufacturers.

I am a former member and Chair, Board of Advisors, College of Arts and Sciences, Syracuse University, a member of the Food Industry Association Collaboration Council, a member of the Tampa General Hospital Patient Coalition, a member of the Tampa General Hospital Transplant Affinity Council, a Board member of the proposed 1st Veterans Bank and member of the OPW Advisory Board.
