Today I talk about the importance of keeping on track with God's timing, through our discussion of the phrase "on the Lord's day."
As we know, it's so important to be on God's calendar and schedule. Have you ever missed an important appointment, because you got your dates mixed up? How did that feel? Similarly, when we're not in sync with God's schedule, we may miss His divine appointments and opportunities to be a witness to others.
In Revelation 1:10, John says that he received his divine vision "on the Lord's day."
People have been known to use this verse and a few others as a justification to worship and take our day of rest on Sunday rather than on Saturday, or the original Sabbath.
I explore whether or not worshiping on Sunday is a biblical practice. This topic is important and relevant to all believers, because the answer we discover will help us to synchronize our watches with God, so to speak, in order to become more aligned with His schedule.
If it ends up not being biblical, then what shall we do to return to the original design and intention of God?

REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. As believers, we say God's timing is perfect. If that's the case, then why aren't we more concerned about taking the Sabbath on Saturday?
Was the Sabbath intended for all mankind, or was it only for the Jewish people? Why or why not?
2. What does it mean for God to sanctify and bless the Sabbath day? After listening to this episode, do you agree with what was shared? Why or why not?
3. How will honoring the Sabbath day on Saturday help you get more aligned with God's timetables and rhythms? More aligned with the Jews and our Messianic Jewish brother and sisters?
4. In this episode, we talked about how Emperor Constantine and the Catholic Church were instrumental in changing our worship and rest time from Saturday to Sunday.
Did a mere man and the Catholic Church have the authority to make this change? If not, then what can you do to get back to God's schedule? How can we influence the Church to get back to God's original design for the Sabbath day rest?
ACTION STEPS
1. Slowly review and meditate upon what was shared in this podcast episode.
2. Subscribe and share this podcast with others who may be interested.
3. If you don't have a day of rest, take steps to schedule one and trust God to make up the difference for you, in work hours, money made, etc.
4. If you'd like to honor the Sabbath on its original day, then rearrange your schedule, so that you can open up your Saturdays for rest and time spent with God. (Keep in mind, the Jewish Sabbath is from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.)
5. Read the article above on how our original Sabbath was changed from Saturday to Sunday.
6. Research the history of the Catholic Church by looking into Dave Hunt's book: A Woman Rides the Beast.
