We break down the results of the first round of Chile's presidential election, the concurrent legislative elections and the state of the country's political alliances only a few months on from the historic constituent assembly elections. Will Chile turn down a hard right path of populism and border controls with José Antonio Kast, or will Gabriel Boric lead the country down a leftist path focused on addressing social inequality?
