Out of one side of our mouth, we sing, “to be like Jesus to be like Jesus, all I want is to be like him.” Yet on the other side of our mouth, we are saying I'm not worthy of being like Jesus because of all my weaknesses.
The Scriptures tell us that a person acting like that is a person with a double mind, and the Scriptures tell us that a double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways.
So face the scriptural facts and confess today that he has made you into his image and that the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in you.
Say to yourself out loud, because Christ lives in me, I have his nature, and I have his spirit. Therefore I am his twin brother. We have the same father, and we have the same spirit.
