Often times we hear about "The Year In Review", looking back at major events that have happened in the prior year. In our personal financial lives, this is also what we do during tax preparation. Filing taxes is literally putting together a personal "Financial Year In Review", but we are planners. This is a show about planning. Planning is about looking forward and being proactive, not looking back, being historical, or being reactive. Certainly, we can gain some knowledge from history (maybe we should gain and retain a little more), but we have to plan ahead and keep moving forward.
