This sad yet beautiful ballad, produced by Mike Rose, showcases Belle’s emotional depth and hints at more great things to come.
At just 18 years old, Belle is a Midlands-based singer/songwriter with a passion for music, fashion, dance, and—surprisingly—porridge! Her new single releases Friday, 15th November 2024, continuing a remarkable journey that began with her TV debut on CBBC’s Saturday Mash-Up!
Belle’s career highlights include:
- Performing ‘Beautiful To Me’ on Saturday Mash-Up! (22nd July 2023)
- Promoting ‘Follow Ur Heart’ with a live interview and performance (4th November 2023)
- Returning to Saturday Mash-Up! to perform ‘Burn’ (3rd August 2024)
Belle’s singles, including ‘NV’, ‘Fluorescent Light’, and ‘Burn’, have been heavily supported by over 90 regional UK radio stations, with features in local Midlands press. Her lyrics, inspired by personal experiences, resonate deeply with her generation. From TikTok trends to heartfelt YouTube comments, Belle’s music has touched fans everywhere:
- “It’s like you’re locked outside and just looking in… hits home.” (Beautiful To Me)
- “Follow your heart to bigger and better things… I feel it.” (Follow Ur Heart)
- “I’m from the future; this song will trend on TikTok and Instagram.” (Burn)
Reflecting on ‘That’s Not What Hearts Are For’, Belle says:
"I wrote this song to cope with overwhelming emotions. It’s a universal feeling that everyone faces at some point, and writing it was freeing. Vulnerability is cool, btw! 💝 I hope you love it as much as I do."
Growing up surrounded by music, Belle found inspiration in Avril Lavigne and embraced performing at every opportunity. Her songs combine emotional highs and lows with messages of kindness, hope, and resilience.
In 2022 and 2023, Belle reached over 14,000 school children through tours that combined music with discussions on mental health, online safety, and cyberbullying. Belle’s journey includes performances at Reading Pride Festival, Tattershall Lakes, and Rainsford’s Picnic In The Park, making her a voice for her generation.
