On this episode of Pilsners and Politics Benjamin sits down with Ayo Kimathi of the Brothers of the DMV. On Oct. 20, the Council of the District of Columbia voted 12-1 to approve a bill that will allow children age 11 and older to obtain vaccines without their parents’ consent, and after another vote in November and the legislation's forwarding to Mayor Muriel Bowser in December, the legislation was enacted into law on Dec. 23.
In response to this legislation, Brothers of the DMV, a group of African American Activist men, was formed. Based on VAERS data and data emerging from the Science and Medical Communities The Brothers of the DMV recognized the dangers of the "harmful injection" and made it their mission to spread the word to other members of African American Community throughout Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Their goal, according to Ayo is to help educate, and bring awareness, so individuals can make informed choices.
Benjamin and Ayo, agreed that the issue of medical freedom transcends race, and party politics. This issue is an American Issue. If we allow government to dictate our medical decisions where will it lead to? I think history has show us a roadmap.
