On this episode of Pilsners & Politics, Benji and Vinny sit down with two very special guests, Michael Allen and Chris Prudhome. Michael is a veteran of the United States Military, a former member of the Department of Homeland Security, a political appointee by President Donald J. Trump and he currently serves as a mentor for the Harvard/Yale veterans alumni group. Chris currently serves as the president of Sunvision Strategies, which is a firm focusing on political strategy and communications. Chris previously worked extensively with candidates who previously ran for President of the United States and has worked behind the scenes with numerous high level politicians and corporate executives. Chris is a Fox News contributor and has appeared on numerous media outlets. Needless to say, both of these men are extremely qualified and uniquely talented within the political sphere and are able to provide a perspective on all things political that the vast majority of Americans will likely never experience.
Michael and Chris discuss an array of topics during our conversation, the theme being that we as a nation are more divided now than we ever have been. We discuss why this division exists, what it's going to take to unify as one and if the media will ever allow unification to happen.
