Rom 12:1-13 1Co 12-14 Eph 4:1-16 1Pe 4:7-11 First, we go to these passages to learn the characteristics of spiritual gifts. 1Co 12:1-6 The Spirit gives the gifts. He decides which gift each believer receives. The Lord Jesus Christ governs the ministries in which believers use their gifts. God the Father determines the effects each ministry will have. 1Co 12:4-6 Spiritual gifts are marked by great VARIETY. Verses 4-6 also emphasize unity. Variety is what makes unity so vibrant.
