This episode’s guest is Master Wheel Builder Bill Mould, a Columbia University and Yale-educated scientist and engineer who served as a college professor, Air Force colonel, and civilian pilot among other things, before ‘retiring’ into his passion as a master mechanic and expert in bicycle physics and wheel building. He has written a book on bicycle physics and engineering, has hand-built more than 6,000 wheels, and continues to study wheels through research, experimentation, and conversations with experts around the world. In the industry, we affectionately refer to him as Bill Mould Wheels.
