Derek Woodske joins me on today’s episode for a deep drive into the champion mindset and champion-producing coaching, both of which Derek can speak of from experience.

Few can give you advice on successful high-level coaching, even fewer are able to give you an insight into the psychology of a professional athlete. Derek does both on this episode.

While competing in the USA college system, Derek earned three national titles in the Hammer Throw, a top two world ranking indoors and four All-American Honours. For his achievements in track and field he was inducted into the North Idaho Athletic Hall of Fame. Derek set multiple Canadian records and represented Canada as a member of Team Canada in the Commonwealth Games. Following his athletic retirement, he has coached professionally in the NCAA, NFL and private sectors with great success.
