Mudawanat | مدوَّنات

إشكالية الحفاظ على الآثار والتراث مطروحة وبقوة في المشهد الثقافي والفني في مصر، ويرجع ذلك لطبيعة مصر الغنية بالآثار والتراث وللتطور الكبير للنسيج العمراني الذي التحم بكثير من الآثار بشكل لا تستطيع معه أن تفصلهم عن بعض، خاصةً في مدينة القاهرة التاريخية المصنفة كموقع تراث عالمي. في هذه الحلقة نسلّط الضوء على مبادرة "الأثر لنا" التي استطاعت أن تخلق بدائل ثقافية وفنية لتعيد تشكيل علاقة الناس بالأثر والحفاظ عليه.

The conservation of antiquities and other heritage is an urgent concern among all concerned with culture and the arts in Egypt. This has to do with the dense sprawl of the urban fabric which has grown so cheek-by-jowl with Egypt's wealth of antiquities that has become impossible to separate the two. This is particularly the case in Historic Cairo, which has been classed as a World Heritage site.
In this episode, we shed light on the Athar Lina initiative which has succeeded in creating cultural and artistic alternatives that reshape people's relationship with antiquities and their preservation.
