If you are from central IL you have most likely heard of Eastview Christian Church. Most of you probably have nothing but good things to say about this organization, we do too. However, there has been some tea spilt about the ex. Senior Pastors family, specifically about his sons and how these accusations have been kept from the church perishioners and workers along with no repercussions. Now we also believe in "innocent until proven guilty" based on this information it seems like there was not a thorough investigation done 7 years ago. Why is this important? Because we are supposed to trust and believe in our churches. That they are a safe place to help others and share the love that God would want them to share. No one is perfect and mistakes happen - but it seems there is a storm brewing for one of the biggest churches in town. Our hope is that once this 3rd party investigation is done ,that the truth comes out and people can heal and move on.
