Flat Lake, Alberta's Brett Kissel has just released "What Is Life?" - his 5th major-label studio album - that sets out to answer the album title's question track by track including the first release "Make A Life, Not A Living". Brett has won 18 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) awards, 2 Junos, has 15 Top 10 radio singles & 3 #1 songs. HIs single "Drink About Me" - one of his #1 songs - from his Now Or Never album is up for Single Of The Year at the 2021 Juno Awards. It's the first time a country single has been in that category in a decade. Of the new album, Brett says: “That age-old question is one that I’ve really focused on and centered around for this next phase of my career and for my life. And each and every time, the one thought that is always front and center for me, is doing the best we can with what we have, and making the most of our lives – living the words that I sing in the first song – and I hope that everyone who hears it not just enjoys it, but is also inspired by it.” Brett shares stories about the album, recording with Charley Pride, touring with Garth Brooks, debuting at the Grand Ole Opry in 2015, learning "I Walk The Line" on his first guitar & much more!
