One night in 2000, a college student sat down in front of his computer feeling all sorts of nervous and excited emotions.

For months, he had been working on a software that he felt could really help out a lot of people, and could even maybe change the way the world worked. And after spending countless hours refining and improving his code, that day, he was finally ready to test it out.

As he sat at his computer, fingers dashing across the keyboard, the student felt hope swelling inside himself for his work and for his future. He decided he would start off by simply sending his program out to just one person, a stranger he had met in an online chatroom. He wanted to begin with something really, really small. But turns out, what would happen next was anything BUT small, and soon, the whole world would know his name...
