The beautiful thing about a marriage partnership - if it truly is a partnership - is that your spouse knows everything about you. So the idea that I'll lose my identity in marriage could only be false if our idea of marriage is skewed. The way God designed marriage to work is a partnership between 2 people who work towards oneness (one mind, one vision, one team) to create something great and lasting in this world.
