Welcome to another episode of Growth Marketers Podcast! Today, we'll talk about marketing channels. How to choose the best one and where does it fit in your marketing strategy? One of the most common questions we hear from our listeners and clients is, “what channel is good for doing XYZ?” Not the best question to ask, but extremely common.
The thing is that when business leaders come to us for marketing help, they tend to be self-diagnosed with what they believe is the problem. They even prescribe their own treatment, giving us recommendations on what we should do, as well as the channels that they believe are best for marketing their business.
Those conversations are very common among B2B organizations, so let’s use this podcast as an opportunity to define what a channel really is and explain why the channel is not a strategy.
We’ll walk you through our process of how we go about the channel selection. We'll also talk about the questions you should ask before you decide which channel is going to be most effective for a particular campaign or strategy.
