Ark Entertianment independently published this comic book series. The Unicorn and the Fox is a fantasy story about a hornless unicorn named Buddy who must save his world and universe from an evil force. At the same time, Buddy must overcome his own self-doubt about his place in the world.
In this episode the gang discusses the nostalgia the books bring up for movies like The Secret of NIMH, The Last Unicorn, and those made by Ralph Bakshi; “Boner” Vs. “Gooch“; the logic of realms or worlds; the caste system that subjects four-legged creature below those that stand on two-legs; our struggle to figure out who is the intended audience for this book; and last but not least, the storytelling and art of The Unicorn and the Fox.
