The essence of knowing is in the doing. The essence of obedience is in the acting. The essence of loving God is in loving others. In many ways, following Jesus isn’t that difficult to understand, but can seem impossible, at times, to actually do. Visible results are limited at best and immediate, miraculous changes or resolutions rare. This might be the greatest challenge to, and builder of, our faith.
