On this episode Molly and I interviewed Jonno Proudfoot co-author of the wildly successful book The Real Meal Revolution as well as Superfood for super children and The Real Meal Revolution Low Carb cooking. He is a well-known South African chef, who trained and worked in a five-times rated Top 10 restaurant and spent time at a variety of food and wine establishments before finding his passion in Paleo and LCHF (low carb/high fat) cookery.

He is also a professional coach who is passionate about helping people transform their health. He has created the Food Transformation Coaching to help people crush their excess weight and rejuvenate their health by rewiring their relationship with food and bringing deliciousness back into your life.

He helped drive the biggest eating revolution in South African history, and broke a world record when he swam from Mozambique to Madagascar (that’s 460km). However, he has slayed his own demons. He grew up in a broken home with a parent in active addiction. As a teen he was angry at the world and had no self-worth. He drank, took drugs and disclosed his nickname was ‘Trash’.

“Life is good at throwing obstacles in the way of noble goals. When you work with me, I will use your greatest obstacles to fuel your hunger for greatness. The obstacle is the way.” Jonno Proudfoot
