It's welcomed news for Ontario businesses: the province is set to move into stage 3 of its economic reopening plan as of 12:01 am on July 16-five days earlier than the original plan. Ryan reacts to the news and provides insight into how this will impact businesses across Ontario. ---- EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PANEL: BC WILDFIRES DISASTER Jane Brown is joined by Dr. Gordon McBean, a climatologist and a Professor in the Department of Geography and Environment at Western University as well as Dr. Eric Kennedy, an Assistant Professor at York University in the Disaster and Emergency Management program with a focus on wildfire. As the B.C wildfires rage on, we ask about the challenges that first responders face in fighting this kind of a disaster and the strategies they have to consider in effectively combating the flames. And, Dr. McBean details his report on building climate resilient communities. There are approximately 300 active fires in the province of BC-77 of them started just this past weekend.
