We have no idea how much our sin has cost, but we can get a little idea, and this Holy Week invites us to do it. It invites us to stop our normal life, to pause the regular things we normally do. to enter in and pay attention, to take the time and walk with Jesus, to take the time and notice how much our sin costs and even more how much God’s love is willing to pay that price with his own blood.
