Tonight’s guest, Abdullah EL Khatib, is a 1st generation Arab American, who was born in Boston, but when he was 4 years old, his family decided to move to the Middle East. He’s half Palestinian and half Jordanian, so they moved to Jordan. When Abdullah was 10 or 11 years old, he visited his grandfather’s olive farm. His grandfather’s farm was a beautiful place, with a nice home, a swimming pool, and a lot of land. After having dinner, with his family, 1 Friday night, he decided to walk down a hill behind his grandfather’s house to where all of the animals were kept, to look at them. When he started heading back to the house, he heard a deep growling sound that let him know he wasn’t alone. This wasn’t 1 of his grandfather’s animals, however. None of them were over 10 feet tall or walked on 2 legs. This thing WAS that tall and DID walk on 2 legs. When Abdullah 1st saw it, it was at a distance. It was going to get much closer to him, though. Much too close!
