Greetings listeners! We're back with a new episode of the podcast where we are thankful for video games during these uncertain times, Joel gives a quick run down of a game called Roundguard which brings together his love of Peggle and roguelikes. Then both of our hosts come together to gush about Moon Studios' long awaited Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The gameplay, visuals, and music absolutely won us over with another narrative that tugs at the heartstrings, no spoilers from us though! What we can say is that you absolutely shouldn't skip Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Meanwhile, over in the Bonus Round we've got some next gen talk from both Microsoft and Sony as of this week! Mark Cerny presented a deep dive on the tech that powers the PlayStation 5 that was originally intended for GDC but has been re-purposed for the general public as well, and Digital Foundry had a chance to head to Xbox HQ for some Xbox Series X details. Capping off the show we also had a lovely little Nintendo Indie World presentation, featuring a bunch of new indie games and some ones we'd been waiting to hear more about.
