In today’s episode, your hosts Dr. Chris Heeb and financial expert Richard Schaffer will discuss the common limiting beliefs most Americans have about their mortgages. They will teach you how to rescale your perspective to think long term so that you can achieve financial freedom sooner than you ever thought possible!
Most Americans are comfortable being stuck in their mortgages for decades. The banks and lenders have taught us that it is beneficial to stay in debt because it brings tax benefits. While it is possible to have some write offs, the costs outweigh the benefits by a ton. According to Richard, there is no reason to stay in debt longer than you need. You will find yourself miles ahead when you don’t have any debt at all.
