Cheers everyone, and welcome to Batch 255! We're very excited to have a female-heavy show as our BFF Coley joins us as well as Greg's wife, Shannon. We're excited, as this is the first in-person recording in over a year! We're talking about Memorial Day BBQs, partying until the sun comes up, stupid laws around buying alcohol, and drunk texting.
We kick things off with a review of Mozee, an IPA from one of our favorites, Toppling Goliath.
We check in with Buff Bagwell, a wrestler from the 90s who's in a bit of trouble. Coley threw a BBQ that included real-life people, leading to a discussion on the good ol' days of partying until the sun comes up.
We make a call to the bullpen and try Sweets (Peach Cobbler) from Mountains Walking Brewery in Bozeman, MT. It is a dessert beer in its truest form.
Big "craft" beer is seeing a decline in sales during the pandemic, darn. Chicago is proposing a curfew on off-premise alcohol sales; aren't' we all adults? Free beer for vaccinated Minnesota residents; keep that vaccine card. Texans can now get some early morning booze on Sundays. And a man drunk texts the South Carolina Aquarium with some fascinating questions.
