How the church has made a name for itself in ways that do not represent who Jesus was or is. Mark preaches from the book of Luke, chapter 11. In this passage, Jesus is eating with the religious leaders. Jesus calls them out in the ways they have made the religious laws their god. They are more concerned with upholding the rules and laws which burden their people, rather than seeking God and His love. It is the same for each of us today! We need to apply to our lives what Jesus is saying in this chapter. We need to love Jesus and show His love, while we live by the Word of God. We all should be asking Jesus to make our hearts ones that uphold His Word while we, keep our hearts soft as we seek Him each day!
