It's a humorous podcast with good friends talking about everything in general and nothing in particular. Like grasshopper pies and Keanu and flying upside down. If you're looking for an occasionally thoughtful, often silly and mostly inconsequential podcast, Charbroiled Chats is for you.

The cast of Charbroiled Chats includes novelists, journalists, marketers, copywriters, editors, photographers, painters and a sewist. Which is odd because there are only three of them. It’s hard to sort out who does what but if you’re still curious, this probably won’t help:

GRACE is a foodie who hates to cook, a Japanophile who has never been to Japan, a movie and music fan who denigrates Hollywood rom-coms and jazz, and a lover of celebrity gossip who doesn’t give a rat’s ass about celebrities.
HANK tried out for the K.C. Royals to write about it. (My Life in Pro Baseball, Spitball Magazine) Jumped out of a plane, sold beer at a ballpark and interviewed Bigfoot hunters for different dailies and weeklies. Speed-typed ad copy, corporate speeches and whatever words clients needed to co-support his family. Wrote the book Amazing Grace to raise money for a homeless shelter. Now he thinks about writing a novel but mostly edits photos. That’s enough. -30-
