For the month of August, Breathe will dive and embrace the wisdom scripture that is applicable to our lives in so many ways through the book of Proverbs. According to dictionary.com a Proverb is a short popular saying, usually of unknown and ancient origin, that expresses effectively some commonplace truth or useful thought. In other words, a biblical truth of advice or instruction used to illustrate moral or spiritual lessons, known as wisdom scripture.

Meditation Scripture: "My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you. Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.." (Proverbs 7:1-2)


Warning Against the Adulterous Woman

7 My son, keep my words
and store up my commands within you.
2 Keep my commands and you will live;
guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
3 Bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
and to insight, “You are my relative.”
5 They will keep you from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words....,.( refer to Bible chapter for remaining scripture vs7-23)
