Richard Beattie and Sound Century have remixed the recordings from the 1966 version of Mardi Gras a musical with an All Star Cast and two All-Star Bands! Joel Grey takes you on a tour of New Orleans starting at Bourbon Street, where you meet the characters who made up the Fat Tuesday Legends and birthed Jazz! The first Act ends with Satchmo right off of his hit run on Broadway in "Hello Dolly!" The second Act begins with a medley from the Carmen Lombardo Score, performed by Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians and then Pops appears to sing Mumbo Jumbo. Lombardo comes back to invite the crowd to the inaugural season of The Maxwell House Dance Tent, where the audience dances to the music of Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians and Louis Armstrong and his band!
