This week, in what might be the funniest episode yet, Molly and Emese are joined by co-stars Amy Schumer and Brianne Howey. They get candid about motherhood, career evolution, and their new film, Kinda Pregnant —which unexpectedly led to Amy’s latest health discovery. Amy opens up about how public criticism led her to uncover her Cushing syndrome diagnosis, what it’s like to navigate comedy and Hollywood as a mom, and the importance of sharing birth stories without shame. Brianne shares how becoming a mother has shifted her perspective on work, how Ginny & Georgia ’s Georgia Miller compares to real-life parenting, and the power of female friendships in the industry. We also go behind the scenes of their new Netflix film, Kinda Pregnant —how Molly first got the script, why Amy and Brianne were drawn to the project, and what it means for women today. Plus, they reflect on their early career struggles, the moment they knew they “made it,” and how motherhood has reshaped their ambitions. From career highs to personal challenges, this episode is raw, funny, and packed with insights. Today, we’re taking a journey from soil to soul. Lately, I’ve been discovering my own passion for plants—their beauty, resilience, and the way they connect us to something bigger. It’s been a personal journey that’s made me appreciate how something as simple as a garden can offer joy, clarity, and even healing. That’s why I’m so excited for this conversation with Matthieu. My guest is Matthieu Meyhus, a landscape architect, educator, and passionate advocate for regenerative gardening and sustainable farming. Matthieu's journey began on a family farm in Belgium and has blossomed into a career dedicated to designing gardens that heal both the earth and our well-being. We truly cover so much ground in this episode (yes - pun intended). In this episode, we explore the critical role of soil health, the science of regenerative practices, and how small steps like growing your own garden or supporting local farmers can make a monumental impact. Matthieu shares his wisdom on the hidden power of weeds, the connection between soil microorganisms and human health, and why gardening might just be the most hopeful revolution we can start in our own backyards. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this conversation will leave you inspired to cultivate change—for yourself, your community, and the planet. As a woman in my mid-40s, navigating the shifts and surprises of this life stage, I’ve come to realize how underserved we are when it comes to understanding menopause. It’s a natural transition, yet too often shrouded in silence, leaving many of us to figure it out alone. That’s why I’m passionate about shining a light on this crucial topic—not just for myself but for all the women who deserve better resources, support, and acknowledgment. In this episode, I had the privilege of speaking with Amita Sharma, the founder of Nourish Doc, whose work is breaking barriers and creating a movement to empower women through menopause and beyond. Her online platform for menopause wellness resources is an invitation to us all - men and women - to learn more about this very regular and often troublesome part of our lives. Amita shared her story and struggles of perimenopause and menopause amidst a corporate world that barely acknowledges its existence. She created her platform out of what she saw as an unmet need. Amita’s mission with Nourish Doc is to empower middle-aged women and bring much-needed awareness to the forefront. Our open exchange threw light on: ✨the taboo subject of menopause, discussing its impact on women’s professional lives, and the dire need for resources and understanding in the workplace. ✨the incredible potential of diet and lifestyle choices to maintain hormonal harmony. ✨the serious implications of gut health, mental well-being, and the profound influence of modalities like yoga and Ayurveda on menopausal symptoms. ✨menopause as a movement that’s gaining traction in spaces like big corporate and beyond, where menopause awareness in the workplace is finally being recognized as a pressing issue. Amita shared the exciting news of the Nourish Doc app, a beacon of support for women navigating this natural, albeit challenging, life stage. From acknowledging the cultural nuances of menopause to advocating for necessary accommodations, we underscored the importance of creating an inclusive environment where every woman can thrive, free from the shackles of silent suffering. This one is going to be really interesting, and I think you're really going to love it. My guest today has been "unemployable" since 1992, having founded four companies, mentored countless individuals, and hosted the popular *Don’t Be Caged By Your Age* podcast, where she helps folks dissolve internalized ageist beliefs so they can thrive after 65. We explore a wide range of topics, but we focus on the complexities of aging, purpose, and community. We also throw in some conversation about women and sex, truly covering all the things. We confront ageism head-on by exploring the value of intergenerational relationships and the importance of maintaining your purpose throughout life, no matter where you are in your aging journey. And let's hope it's a long journey! This conversation will help you understand the importance of self-discovery, self-love, and creating spaces where we can thrive.
