Allan Snashall

An Ordinary King

Allan Snashall, has worked in the welfare/community services field for the past 40 years. He has a particular passion for working with young people 13 - 25 years, which has included child protection work, running mentoring and recreation programs and currently teaching young people in an alternate schooling environment, as well as adults within the TAFE system. Over time he has recognised the importance of being able to effectively listen and demonstrate empathy as a way to engage with people on a variety of issues including mental health, and in so doing, help them to move forward with their lives. Alan is a father of four and has been in a loving relationship for 15 years.
