Why Does God Remain Hidden? If God really wants us to believe in him, then why doesn’t He show himself more clearly? The idea that God is hidden, that if he were real he would provide obvious signs to us mere mortals proving his existence is a charge that many skeptics have leveled against believers. When asked what he would say if after he died he was face to face with God, atheist Bertrand Russel famously replied “Not enough evidence!” Today, I bring you a talk I recently gave at the Defend Conference in New Orleans.
