Let’s talk about the three things women are told not to do: negotiate, network unapologetically, and say no like we mean it. Most of us have been programmed to default to yes—to the point that we feel guilty saying no, even when it’s the most obvious answer. And when we do say no? We often soften it, explain it away, and sugarcoat it so much that it barely sounds like a no at all. Kathryn Valentine—CEO of Worthmore Strategies and corporate badass helping companies retain and promote female talent—is here to flip that script. With experience advising Fortune 100s and dropping knowledge in places like HBR and Fast Company, Kathryn knows exactly how women can claim their worth, own their voice, and not feel bad about it. From salary talks to schedule shifts, from asking for more to turning down what doesn’t serve you, this episode is your reminder: your power doesn't come from being liked. It comes from knowing what matters and having the guts to go after it. Kathryn even drops her epic list of 76 things you can negotiate (yes, SEVENTY-SIX). So if you've ever softened your no or stayed silent in a meeting, this one’s for you. Welcome to DAD MODE! Here is our first episode, "The Screen Time Trials". On the agenda: The Top 5 Kids shows we wish we could delete forever How to teach your kids to engage with entertainment thoughtfully ... and don't miss out on the call to the DADvice Hotline.
We wanted to set aside a time for a quick talk to say "Thank You" to all the fathers out there. We know Father's Day can be hit and miss for some people. It can also be downright painful for others. That's why we wanted to take this time to celebrate the ones who are doing it right.
The easy answer is Hebrews 10:24-25a, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together." That's certainly enough reason to go, but sometimes it feels like there's more to it these days, for good or bad.
Does my preference in worship matter? Should it ever affect my ability to engage? There are some hard questions on worship and we take a swing at a couple. #podcast

Back to school! The three words that can strike fear in the hearts of children nationwide! As we get older, it becomes more nerves due to unknowns from a new beginning. Remember when you were a kid and you thought you knew everything? Then a parent corrected you, but you were still certain they couldn't be more wrong. Then you grew a realized they were right about way more than they were wrong? HAHA! Yeah, let's talk about that.
The concept of a "core memory" is that certain experiences can shape our lives. While this concept is neither biblical or scientific, there's no doubt that our past can shape our future. And, since our past can be both troubling and triumphant, we must decide Who shapes our future instead of what. We got a chance to talk about this in this episode. We hope you enjoy.…
