Acts 13:1-12 Paul and Barnabas are called by the Holy Spirit to be missionaries and their first stop is Cyprus. In this passage we see that the Holy Spirit calls some to vocational ministry and through them he brings people out of spiritual darkness into the marvelous light of Christ.

Acts 4:23-31 In this passage we see that after Peter and John have been released from the Sanhedrin, they turn to their own. And their own bear their burden with them through prayer. And in this prayer we see that because God is sovereign, opposition to his gospel message is ultimately in vain.
