Anne and Frances are back with a new season of Fixable to tackle a subject that impacts everyone’s experience of work: confidence. In this episode, the pair sit down with Master Fixer Ian Robertson, a professor of psychology at Trinity College Dublin and author of the new book How Confidence Works: The New Science of Self-Belief, to discuss where confidence comes from, how to inspire confidence in others, and how to deal with overconfident leaders. Ian also shares his confidence framework and explains why anxiety is actually your friend. What I've been doing recently since I'm focusing in my personal life and job searching. Hope you guys are safe out there despite all the current events happening recently.
Hope you guys are having a good day despite the quarantine. It's a huge commitment to stick with what you want to do, but also, have fun with what the opportunities meeting with different people.
This is what needs to be discussed and I don't know what to say that can be impactful to others. However, with the right solution, we need to be able to express ourselves with these opinions and thoughts in order to stand for what we believe in.
I hope friends who are listening to this can understand that there are still so many guys out there willing to abuse women for their sexual needs and when it comes to cancel culture with our own groups, I believe people can change over time and know that admitting their wrongdoings affect everyone including themselves…
I hope that these sessions I'm talking about would provide different perspectives of what we should think of when it comes to difficult times. There's so much negativity around us that we all need time to take a step back and analyze our mistakes
Thank you all for being a part of my journey and can't appreciate how much you guys have been such a support system to help me get to the point of where I'm at right now. This is one of the moments I will never forget. Thank you once again!
Hope everyone is doing well despite the quarantine. I'm back with another episode and I don't know what to say but I kept thinking about the transition I've been going through.
There will be good and bad days. I have to let friends go. Everyone who's in my life are meant to be in my journey, but not all of them are meant to stay till the end.
Origin of where it all started and recommendations of food places to go to. Hope you guys are big foodies because I put a lot of food places on my Yelp list of stars on most of the restaurants in Koreatown, Little Tokyo, and my hometown area
There are many things that we can imagine ourselves go through, but we have to be comfortable with different perspectives of what life is. So, I'm back and ready for a different outlook of what to expect. Moving on is the most difficult thing to do, but somehow I'm still here enjoying life even if it sucks. The changes that I went through, it paid off and hope to have more episodes come up with better mindset…
This is a bonus episode I decided to put up with my intention to give current life situation. Season 2 episodes are currently in progress whether to publish on same day or established. Please give your time to reflect on your mistakes and learn from it. If you think your life is garbage, then I would say that you're making your life miserable. I'd say my life is great despite what people think of me.…
Most details are in the episode of what's happening. It was a decision for me to be able to step down for a bit and realize how I have gone through within my life. To see the episodes progress, that's what I wanted as my goal. It's surreal to see this project go well for myself to succeed in being more open. Thank you guys for listening to the podcast. I'll be back…
The first 10 - 15, please be advised that this is how much anger that I had to relay. If you don't want to listen to the first 15, just skim through the 16 minute mark. If you're okay with listening to the whole thing, I hope it brings out a different side of me that you guys have not seen. This is one of THE hardest episodes that I have ever done because it was a lot of tense moments I had to think about.…
This episode is one of the main episodes I've been trying to work on ever since I started the podcast. It's personal for me to even say some things I cannot say to the public, but this is how I view love and friendship. Honestly, spread the love though. It does help you be the better version of yourself. This is one of the longest episodes I have ever done, but hopefully you guys can relate.…
Special Guest: Daniel Davalos from Cal State LA. One of my closest friends to talk to whenever we have something in our mind to speak out to each other. Special shout out to Stephanie Flores and the SHPE members.
The people I want to thank have been playing a role in my life and truly grateful that there's things I want to get my mind out of for this episode. There's a lot of things that probably won't relate, but hope it does help you out to think in a different way.
Just want to give thanks to my family and friends who are listening to me speak. I'm happy to show you guys a different side that I never got to reveal.
This is the official announcement for the first episode. One more time, I want to give thanks to Anchor for allowing me to use this platform to express myself through podcasting. Stay tuned for the first official episode
For this episode, I'm just testing out the podcast. It's been a difficult decision for me to think about what I can do for myself. I always have difficulty of speaking up and being open to people and this is one of the ideas that I had for a while. I want to thank Anchor for allowing me to even try this platform as a gratitude and want to give a shout out to OffThePill Podcast for inspiring me to try this. The two songs are special to me as a result of why I'm enjoying life and hope you guys like it. Next episode will be on July 20th.…
