All too often I hear from other mommies that they are invisible to their kids, invisible to their partners, Invisible in life. STOP! You are not a Victim, you are not Invisible, You are a Powerhouse! It’s time to step into your power and be accountable for yourself!
How do you feel when you look in the mirror after having a baby? Do you wish you had your pre baby body back, I do and I’m trying my hardest to appreciate every roll and dimple that was created as I grew two beautiful boys.
What do you do on the bad days where you want to give up and not deal with your irrational child. These are things I do to “flip the switch” and make those moments less defeating.
While it’s easy to take on the accountability of our children and their actions, they truly are their own person with their own individuality and personality.
I don’t have an hour to dedicate to myself every day but I do have 5 minutes and I believe that something is better than nothing. I want to share with you my 7 day guns, buns and abs challenge so that we can learn to give ourselves 5 minutes a day.
Dedicated to all the mommies out there that feel like that have to have it all and do it all. It can be exhausting and overwhelming. Know that you are not alone!
When you find out the gender of your baby and become disappointed when it’s not what you hoped for. It’s okay, it happens, it happened to me and this was my take on it.
At some point in the journey of motherhood we are overcome with mommy guilt and we need to realize that it’s okay and we truly are doing the best we can.
Prior to becoming a mother, I had a successful career; work was part of my identity. Post baby, that identity changed and there is a sense of loss in what defines me and who I am. How many of you feel the same?
