Tiffany Yu is the CEO & Founder of Diversability, an award-winning social enterprise to elevate disability pride; the Founder of the Awesome Foundation Disability Chapter, a monthly micro-grant that has awarded $92.5k to 93 disability projects in 11 countries; and the author of The Anti-Ableist Manifesto: Smashing Stereotypes, Forging Change, and Building a Disability-Inclusive World. As a person with visible and invisible disabilities stemming from a car crash, Tiffany has built a career on disability solidarity. Now that she has found success, she works to expand a network of people with disabilities and their allies to decrease stigmas around disability and create opportunities for disabled people in America. Label: Casino 102 Year: 1958 Condition: M- Price: $30.00 This is one of the all-time greatest uptempo Doo Wop numbers. This is a beautiful copy of one of the later issues on the black/silver Casino label, with the label name in six playing cards and no text indicating national distribution by Gone Records. Note: The labels grade Near Mint with a small mar on the A label. The vinyl grades Near Mint with some surface scuffs, and the audio is pristine Mint (have a listen to the mp3 "snippet"). Label: Capitol 5573 Year: 1966 Condition: M- Price: $15.00 Here's a single that I would have included in a list of the 1,001 greatest 45s of all time, though Dave Marsh (see his list under "Collect A List" in the left-hand column of the site) didn't. It would not only be on my list, it would be high up there, perhaps in the top 100! Have a listen to the mp3 "snippet", especially if you don't already know this classic, whose sound straddles Garage Rock, Northern Soul, and what I call Horn Rock. The flip isn't quite as stunning, but it's a fine keeper nonetheless. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Capitol Records factory sleeve. The labels grade Near Mint with a light touch of wear. And although I'm grading the Vinyl a strong EX, the audio gets a Near Mint grade... incredible sound, really.…

Int'l. 3521 Year: 1972 Condition: M- Price: $12.00 Listening to this Philly Soul classic again today, I was thinking that the spark of genius at work here, in the collaboration among Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff and Bobby Martin, is precisely the same as that which gave life to the Motown genius of producer/writers like Norman Whitfield & Barrett Strong, with miracles of Soul music such as "Just My Imagination" by the Temptations. Anyway, what I mean is... I love it ! Not on the Rolling Stone, Dave Marsh or Kev Roberts lists? I think I'm hearing something those guys don't, cause to me this is a 2-star recommendation (our highest)! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Philadelphia Int'l Records factory sleeve. It looks very close to mint (Labels, Vinyl) and has gorgeous, Near Mint audio, held back by the quiet intro having a touch of underlying surface noise.…

And as if the A side weren't reason enough to own this classic single, the B side is one of those super-special, non-LP cut offerings Prince managed to throw around for free on his 1980s singles. Was there ever a better instrumental buildup to the climactic opening of this song? Not many, if any... check out the mp3 "snippet" of it. By the way, this is definitely more in the Northern Soul style than in a Disco style, but somehow it's never become a huge hit in that scene. The wonderful B side instrumental is more of a Disco track. This hit version is specially edited from a 3:54 album track. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Buddah Records factory sleeve. Label: Gordy 7108 Year: 1971 Condition: M- Price: $20.00 Now, here's a case where the A side is already so wonderful that your average fan may never bother to flip the record over to hear the B side. Besides, by the early 1970's, Motown records weren't exactly reliable for having worthy flip sides. So the years go by, and one day you decide to see what the B side holds in store... Lo and behold, it's an even better song than the A side! As amazing as it may seem, it's true in this case. The only caveat is that the two sides are so completely different it's hard to say which is "better." Whoever owns this great single should just feel lucky to have both sides to look forward to! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Motown Records factory sleeve. It grades very close to Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).…

Though they contributed mightily to the sound that made 1970s-80s funk so great, if I had to pick one to include in a list of the 1001 greatest singles ever made, it might very well be this one. For me, it would be hard to choose between this and "Early in the Morning," but we know how Dave Marsh voted. :-) By the way, this single has an edited version of the 5:10 album cut.
