The rat race. Climbing the corporate ladder. Keeping up with the Jones'. AND you can have it all... These are all phrases that describe a similar phenomenon in western culture. Chris had two different sources that shared different thoughts that inspired this episode. We are stewards of the stuff and the time we have. Be a steward. Enjoy the stuff and the people and the time, but don't hold too tightly to any of it. This week's episode was inspired by an unnamed leader and by the Working Genius certification course. Chris couldn't recall where he heard, "Character precedes conduct," but he believed it was impowering. In the Working Genius certification course he heard, "What's rewarded is repeated." This concept begs the questions, What are we rewarding in our organizations and in our homes? They can choose their posture each day. Chris also shares an inspiring text from his friend Chris Cowan.
