We are not in World War III. We are not in the Tribulation. What we are in, is a season of separation. God is once again calling a remnant to rise. Not a popular people—but a set-apart people. Not those caught in the tides of the world, but those rooted in the Spirit of the Living God. We are entering a new phase—a time where deep trust in the Lord will be non-negotiable. His presence must be our oxygen. His Word must be our compass. And yes, this will require sacrifice. Some relationships won’t come with us. Some comforts will have to die. In this message, we’re going to expose the Babylon spirit and the spirit of this age, understand how it operates, and learn how to stand against it with discernment, authority, and unwavering hope. I. What Is the Babylon Spirit? The Babylon spirit is rooted in rebellion, self-exaltation, idolatry, and spiritual compromise. It first appears in Genesis at the Tower of Babel and continues throughout Scripture, ultimately culminating in the end-times system of Revelation. Genesis 11:4 (NKJV) “And they said, ‘Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.’” II. The Characteristics of the Babylon System Isaiah 47:10 (NKJV) “For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’” III. The Babylon Spirit in the Church and the Culture 2 Timothy 3:1–5 (NKJV) “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” IV. How the Spirit of This Age Operates Ephesians 2:1–2 (NKJV) “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.” V. Why We Must Discern and Expose It 1 John 4:1 (NKJV) “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” VI. How Do We Fight the Babylon Spirit? 1. By Walking in the Truth of God’s Word John 17:17 (NKJV) “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” 2. By Refusing to Compromise Daniel 3:17–18 (NKJV) “If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” 3. By Being Filled with the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8 (NKJV) “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…” We cannot fight a spiritual war with carnal weapons. We need the power of the Holy Spirit. We need boldness, clarity, and spiritual authority. That only comes by being filled, not just once—but daily. VII. A Word of Hope for the Remnant Though Babylon rises, Babylon will fall. The Bible promises it. Revelation 18:2 (NKJV) “And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’” Conclusion: Be Equipped, Be Bold, Be Hopeful We are not called to blend in—we are called to stand out. Babylon may rage, but the Lamb reigns. You are part of a victorious Church, filled with power, truth, and authority. Stay alert. Stay filled. Stay hopeful. We are not waiting for revival — we are stepping into it. But it will not be sustained by excitement, emotions, or programs. It will be carried by a mature, purified Bride who knows that Jesus Christ is enough. We must cut through the noise, discern the urgency of this late hour, and stay the course to the very end. He alone is our portion. He alone is our strength. He is enough! 1. We must fix our eyes on Jesus and run with endurance. “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2) 2. We must understand that He is our complete sufficiency. “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) 3. We must press into healing and deliverance. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” (Luke 4:18) 4. We must not be ashamed of the Gospel. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” (Romans 1:16) 5. We must learn to praise Him even in the fire. “Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls—yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” (Habakkuk 3:17-18) 6. We must walk in boldness and courage. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) 7. We must stay watchful and discerning. “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” (Romans 13:11) 8. We must seek to be filled with the Spirit daily. “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25) 9. We must keep our hearts pure and our hands clean. “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” (Psalm 24:3-4) 10. We must finish strong. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8) He is enough. When the world shakes, He is enough. When our strength fails, He is enough. When revival breaks out and the trials come with it, He is enough. When the hour grows darker, His light in us will shine brighter — because He is enough. Now is the time, beloved. Because of what was at stake, we have all been given a gift of grace and more time. We cannot underestimate what God has just done—He spared us from calamity. That being said, we need to pray now more than ever. This battle is not over. Why do I say this? Look first at what’s happening right now. Today, Ukraine has fired its first barrage of long-range missiles into Russia. Joe Biden (or whoever is currently running this country) just approved the use of these long-range missiles, which we supplied, to be used inside Russia. This marks a major escalation of the Ukraine war. There is no reason, in my opinion, for the Biden administration to take this step other than to deliberately try to pull us into World War III before the inauguration, sabotaging President Trump’s incoming administration. What kind of evil people make their primary focus the death of unborn babies? What kind of deranged people try to drag the world into a nuclear war? We need to seriously consider the level of evil we are dealing with here. These individuals seem to have no regard for life at all. Or are their minds completely reprobate? No person in their right mind would do what they are doing now. There is no logical reason for these actions. These missiles will only escalate the conflict without any real chance of winning the war. We now clearly see one of their major plans to disrupt the incoming administration, but this is only the beginning. Americans need to understand what is truly at stake. Our news media is not reporting the situation with the urgency it demands. Every American needs to grasp the gravity of what a full-scale conflict with Russia and her allies would look like. This is not a game. Millions of lives are at risk. The stability of the world is at stake. If globalist leaders succeed in pulling us into this war before the inauguration, it could mean invoking the “War Powers Act.” While I am not saying this will happen, it is a possibility. Additionally, Russia will be forced to retaliate against these attacks. What will that retaliation look like? Cyberattacks? Cutting undersea internet cables? Could it even be a staged operation by our own agencies, similar to the Gulf of Tonkin incident? Who knows? Please continue to pray against these demonic plans and the people carrying them out. Pray that God continues His grace on America and that we, as the Body of Christ, maintain the pressure through prayer and fasting against all these evil plans and agendas. I have not even addressed some of their other schemes. We cannot afford to go to sleep right now. This is just one of their plans; there will be others. Pray. 🙏 I believe God will once again respond to our prayers and thwart their plans—but we cannot let up. We must continue to stand, pray, ask God for more time, and be the restraining force. From the earliest believers who faced persecution to Christians today who stand against cultural norms, we are called to be counterculture. But what gives us the authority to do this? It’s not in our own strength; it’s the authority given to us by Jesus. As we live with this authority, we’re empowered to live boldly, resist worldly influence, and shine as lights in the darkness. Today, we’ll dive into lesser-used scriptures that reveal why we have this authority and why standing apart from the world is integral to our faith. 1. We’re Called to Live Differently, Not Conform From the beginning, God’s people have been called to be set apart. Our authority begins with the choice to reject the world’s influence and live by God’s standards. 1 Peter 2:11-12: “Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.” Leviticus 20:26: “And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.” 2. We Have Authority in Jesus’ Name Our authority is not rooted in who we are but in who He is. Jesus grants us authority to carry out His will, even in a world that resists it. Luke 10:19: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Ephesians 1:21: “Far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” 3. We’re Empowered by the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit fills us with power and guides us to live counterculture. Through the Spirit, we can discern what is of God and what is of the world. 1 John 4:4: “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 4. We’re Equipped to Stand Against Worldly Values As Christians, we don’t wrestle against people but against the spiritual forces behind the world’s values. This spiritual authority allows us to live by God’s standards, even when they clash with society’s norms. Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord. Our authority lies in God’s promise to defend and equip us. As we stand firm in His righteousness, we have His assurance that no weapon formed against us will succeed. Philippians 3:20: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” 5. We’re Called to Be Light in Darkness Christians are meant to be a light, bringing the truth of Jesus into a world that prefers darkness. Our authority is demonstrated by living righteously, even when it’s unpopular. Matthew 5:14-16: “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Ephesians 5:11: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” 6. Our Identity as God’s Children Gives Us Authority Understanding our identity as children of God fuels our ability to live counterculturally. As His children, we inherit His power, His love, and His authority. 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” Romans 8:37: “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Christianity has always been countercultural, and it’s meant to be. We’re called to stand out, not by our strength, but through the authority given to us by Jesus. We don’t have to bend to the world’s standards because our identity, strength, and calling come from God Himself. The Story: Acts 19:11-20 (NKJV) Acts 19:11-12 (NKJV) “Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” Commentary: Paul’s ministry in Ephesus was marked by extraordinary miracles, as God moved mightily through him. The emphasis here is that these miracles were God’s work through Paul—an important distinction. It’s a reminder that miraculous works flow from God’s authority, not human effort. It’s also a testament to the power of God’s Spirit working through a yielded vessel.* Acts 19:13 (NKJV) “Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, ‘We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.’” Commentary: These Jewish exorcists, including the seven sons of Sceva, saw the power displayed through Paul’s ministry and thought they could imitate it without truly knowing Jesus. They used Jesus’ name like a magic formula, unaware that spiritual authority cannot be borrowed or mimicked. This serves as a warning against using the name of Jesus superficially or without a true connection to Him.* Acts 19:14-16 (NKJV) “Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, ‘Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?’ Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.” The evil spirit recognized the authority of Jesus and the legitimacy of Paul’s ministry, but the sons of Sceva had no real relationship with Christ. As a result, they were overpowered by the very force they sought to command. This demonstrates that the spiritual realm recognizes true authority, and without a genuine relationship with Christ, we lack the power to stand against evil. It also highlights the danger of engaging in spiritual matters without being properly equipped or covered by the blood of Jesus.* What Can We Learn as Believers? 1. We are the modern-day Davids and Esthers, and the decisions we make now will have a profound impact on our families, communities, and the world. Scripture 1: David's Anointing 1 Samuel 16:12-13 (NKJV): "So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, 'Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!' Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah." Scripture 2: Esther’s Rise to Queenship Esther 2:17 (NKJV): "The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti." Scripture 8: Esther’s Intercession Esther 8:3 (NKJV): "Now Esther spoke again to the king, fell down at his feet, and implored him with tears to counteract the evil of Haman the Agagite, and the scheme which he had devised against the Jews." Scripture 9: David’s Legacy 1 Kings 2:1-3 (NKJV): _"Now the days of David drew near that he should die, and he charged Solomon his son, saying: 'I go the way of all the earth; be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man. Scripture 10: Esther's Victory and Legacy Esther 9:1 (NKJV): "Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day, the time came for the king’s command and his decree to be executed. On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them." Conclusion: We Are Modern-Day Davids and Esthers In the stories of David and Esther, we see individuals who were called by God for specific purposes in critical times. They were not perfect, but they were willing to say yes to God's call. Their obedience, faith, and courage changed the course of history. We are the modern-day Davids and Esthers. The times we live in are marked by challenges and opportunities, and God is calling us to step into our divine assignments. Just as David faced giants and Esther faced a powerful enemy, we too face spiritual battles and cultural challenges. But God has equipped us with His Spirit, just as He did with David and Esther. We need to understand that our obedience to God’s call is not just about our personal destinies; it’s about the destinies of those we are called to influence and lead. If Esther had not stepped up, her family would have perished, and the Jews could have been annihilated. If David had not faced Goliath, the Israelites might have been defeated. Our actions today can have far-reaching consequences. God is raising up Davids—people after His own heart who will lead with integrity, worship Him wholeheartedly, and face the giants of our time with unwavering faith. God is raising up Esthers—men and women who will stand in the gap, intercede for their people, and use their influence to bring about justice and deliverance. The call is urgent. We must take a stand now. Our world is in desperate need of leaders who are willing to say yes to God’s call, no matter the cost. Just as David and Esther were positioned for a specific time and purpose, we are positioned in this time for God’s divine purpose. Let us, like David, be people after God’s own heart, and like Esther, be willing to take bold risks for the sake of others. When we align our lives with God’s will and step into our divine assignments, we will see His power at work in and through us, bringing about transformation and victory. Let us pray.…

Show notes: I want to speak to you about the importance of having a real and authentic relationship with the Lord, especially in the times that are coming. In a world that is increasingly uncertain and challenging, our faith must be rooted deeply in a personal, genuine connection with God. Let us delve into the Word of God and understand how we can build and maintain this relationship. 1. John 15:4-5 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” Commentary: Jesus emphasizes the necessity of staying connected to Him. Just as a branch draws life from the vine, we must draw our spiritual sustenance from Christ. Without Him, our efforts are fruitless. This verse reminds us that our relationship with Jesus is not optional; it is essential for spiritual vitality and effectiveness. 2. Philippians 3:10 “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” Commentary: Paul’s desire was to know Christ intimately, experiencing both His power and His sufferings. This deep, personal relationship involves sharing in the life and experiences of Jesus. Authentic faith seeks to understand and be united with Christ in every aspect. 3. James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” Commentary: James encourages us to take the initiative to approach God. This verse promises that when we seek God sincerely, He will respond. It also calls for repentance and purity, highlighting that an authentic relationship with God requires a transformation of heart and actions. 4. Jeremiah 29:13 “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Commentary: God promises that He can be found by those who seek Him wholeheartedly. This verse assures us that God is not distant or unattainable; rather, He is accessible to those who earnestly desire Him. A genuine relationship with God requires a wholehearted pursuit. 5. Psalm 63:1 “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.” Commentary: David’s psalm expresses a deep longing for God, depicting a soul in desperate need of His presence. This verse illustrates the intensity of an authentic relationship with God, one that recognizes our dependence on Him in a spiritually barren world. 6. Matthew 22:37 “Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’” Commentary: Jesus defines the greatest commandment as loving God completely and entirely. This love encompasses our emotions, will, and intellect, demonstrating that an authentic relationship with God involves every part of our being. 7. 1 John 2:3-4 “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” Commentary: John teaches that obedience is a mark of truly knowing God. Our relationship with Him is authenticated by our actions. Claiming to know God without following His commands is self-deception. 8. Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Commentary: Paul urges believers to resist conforming to worldly standards and instead undergo a transformation through a renewed mind. This transformation helps us understand and live out God’s will, deepening our relationship with Him. 9. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Commentary: Trusting God completely and acknowledging Him in every aspect of our lives ensures His guidance. This trust is a foundational element of an authentic relationship with God, showing reliance on His wisdom over our own. 10. Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Commentary: Allowing the Word of Christ to permeate our lives leads to wisdom and mutual edification.
