“I could be walking in Central Park and come up on one of these horse and buggies. I don't think twice about it because I see it as part of the New York attraction. You know, you have the Statue of Liberty, you have Times Square, and you have these romantic horse and buggy things where people get married in the park and they ride these carriages. And tourists, they take these rides in Central Park. It's romantic, it's something beautiful to see. But I never thought for one second that these horses are abused.” – Tracy Winston, juror from Ryder’s trial New York City has a big, visible animal cruelty issue: horses forced to pull carriages, carrying heavy loads for long hours in all types of weather in the middle of chaotic traffic. Three years ago, a carriage horse named Ryder was a victim of this cruelty. He collapsed on a Manhattan street after being worked for hours in the summer heat. Two months later, he was euthanized. His story sparked global outrage. Ryder’s driver, Ian McKeever, was charged with animal cruelty The trial took place a few weeks ago, but McKeever was ultimately acquitted. This conversation is with Edita Birnkrant, the Executive Director of NYCLASS and Tracy Winston, one of the jurors from Ryder's trial. New York’s weak and outdated animal protection laws have not changed since Ryder died— and because of this, another avoidable death that occurred just a week after we recorded this interview. On August 5th, a horse named Lady died while pulling a carriage in Manhattan. This conversation is about accountability, about corruption and about what happens when justice fails the most vulnerable. It's too late for Ryder and Lady. But it is not too late to act. If you live in New York, please call your City Council members and tell them it’s time to bring Ryder’s Law, Intro 967, up for a vote and pass this vital bill to protect carriage horses from suffering and death on the city’s streets. ×The killer murdered 2 and wounded 20 at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis this morning before turning the gun on himself. Robin Westman was a transgender female whose social media indicated hate for Trump. It'll be interesting to see how the media handles the next 24 hours.
While she repeatedly voted to NOT lower interest rates for us, Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook lied on her own mortgage documents to get a lower interest rate for herself. Will she skate like Adam Schiff?
This morning Trump signed an executive order making flag burning illegal. It'll be challenged as a Free Speech issue in the courts, but your humble host thinks there's a deeper, 4-D chess thing going on.
Over the past 40 years CA has failed to update critical infrastructure including water, roads & electrical. Shutting off power during predictable heat waves should not be normalized.

Apparently the White House asked Ukraine's President, Zelensky to wear a suit to todays multilateral meeting with Trump & leaders of the European Union. Check out the pic. You make the call.
By the time you read this we may already know. Trump & Putin could have shot each other over Ukraine, or gotten married. No matter what happens, you can be certain Lefties will hate it.
Last night a man attacked a Federal police officer in D.C. with a Subway sandwich, turns out Sean Charles Dunn is/was (lol) employed by the U.S. Justice Department.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson joins the pantheon of race baiting simps by saying Trump is intimidated by the intellectual prowess of Black men. Brandon's not Ready for Rain. Are you? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWD-x3GIUFA&list=RDNWD-x3GIUFA&start_radio=1
Pete Buttigieg looks into a camera and says crime is not an issue in Washington, D.C. Meanwhile another vid surfaces of Joe Biden saying he won't stop at red lights because he fears he'll be carjacked.
Trump is Federalizing the police in Washington, D.C, a city whose murder rate is 3X the national average. Lefties: What crime?

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker weighs in on the lack of criminality of Texas Democrats fleeing a quorum vote, but those accommodating them might want to lawyer up.
Lip Service. That's what Kamala's new book should be titled. She's also announcing while she's not running for CA governor, she's also starting a non profit as well. Lady's got to eat, right?
While the World temporarily freaks over the 8.8 tremor off the eastern coast of Russia, the real earthquake is Trump's historic E.U. trade deal and the tsunami of foreign investments into the United States in exchange for market access.
Bill Maher's at it again. He's dangerously close to supporting Trump. Is Bill Ready for Rain? You decide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWD-x3GIUFA&list=RDNWD-x3GIUFA&start_radio=1
Trump cuts a trade deal with the E.U, a $20 trillion economy & Lefties are more interested in him cheating at golf. Elsewhere, American Eagle is accused of promoting Nazi propaganda because actress/blond/white woman, Sydney Sweeney has "good jeans."
Ghislaine Maxwell sang like a canary yesterday. Word up to salivating Lefties- be careful what you wish for.
Jeffrey Epstein's as hot as a July sidewalk in Manhattan which is the latest in a ten year span of "walls are closing in" moments that serve as oxygen for Democrats. Meanwhile Ghislane Maxwell meets with the DoJ in Tallahassee.
This morning Tulsi Gabbard released a second round of documents which she says proves Barack Obama directly gave the order to publish the Russia Collusion hoax knowing there was no proof to back it up. Lefties want to know what that has to do with Jeffrey Epstein.

None of the money ($100 million) raised by The FireAid Benefit back in January goes directly to the 13,000 victims of the CA wild fires. It's distributed to non profit charities! If you were wondering how the Homeless Industrial Complex disappeared $20 billion worth of funds...

Swamp creature Chuck Schumer phones in his resistance to DOGE cuts at USAID, PBS & NPR. VP Vance cast the deciding vote.
Disingenuous Speaker-in-waiting Hakeem Jeffries is calling for release of the Epstein files, suggesting (lol) that Trump's guilty, which is unlikely given that if there was any damning evidence his party & the Trump/Russia crowd would have leaked it long ago.
Against the backdrop of the Jeff Bezos wedding this weekend, the President's Big Beautiful Bill is being voted on today in the Senate. Critics say trillions in new spending is a lethal lure, others count on our GDP expanding like Lauren Sanchez's bust line.
This morning SCOTUS ruled Federal Judges cannot issue nationwide injunctions. This clears the way for debate over Trump's executive order redefining birthright citizenship, which he would argue is more in line with the original intent of the 14th Amendment.
