In Player Select, we discuss our predictions and hopes for the upcoming release of the Nintendo Switch. Bit from the Past has us looking back on the list of video games that we never beat. Either from distraction from a new game release or from the sheer frustration of not being able to defeat a difficult boss...we'll again someday Final Fantasy VIII. (at 39:28) Let us know in the comments section if you see yourself subscribing to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service, what is your favorite survival horror game and what game was sold to you as hype and never delivered.…
On this installment of the Couch Jockeys, Player Select has us exploring the necessity of VR for the gaming community. Is it a fad like the Power Glove or will it change how we view games into the near future. (at mark 2:33) Today's Bit From the Past is all about stealth gaming. Whether it be Syphon Filter, Mark of the Ninja, Hitman or Manhunt, they come in all shapes and sizes. We go through some of our favorites and toss in some games you wouldn't consider to be a stealth game. (at 15:46: Closing the show is a Party Chat about gamer rage. We've all been there, seconds away from angling your car in the right direction as you launch in the air to knock that soccer ball into the goal and suddenly your teammate knocks you out of the way to gain all the glory...talking about you Rocket League. It can come from an opponent, teammate or NPC but we've all at some point found ourselves pissed at a game. (at 34:37) Reply in the comments section on your feelings on the future of VR gaming, what's your favorite stealth game, and what gets on your nerves as a gamer.…
