According to Psychology of Women Quarterly (2014), despite progress in reducing the acceptability of blatant gender discrimination, women continue to face subtle and ambiguous manifestations of prejudice and they often experience more covert discrimination than in the past.
In conjunction with the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women, UNAM Youth will unpack “Microaggression Against Women at the Workplace" with guest speaker Emellia Shariff, Founder & Managing Partner (Speak Up Malaysia), and Rizal Rozhan, Assistant Vice President, Strategy & Programs (Impact Development) alongside moderator, Hazirah Adlina, Deputy Head of Community, Outreach, and Collaboration at UNAM Youth.
