For the 35th episode of the Non Serviam Podcast, host Joel Williamson spoke with Travid Halabout narrative, emancipation, and the tools we use to construct prisons and tear them down. Join us as we take a deep dive into anthropology, archeology, mental health, music, anarchy, and more. Travid Halton is an anarchist archeologist from Houston, Texas, who comes from a working-class background and got his undergraduate degree in anthropology and biology from the University of Houston. He works as an archaeologist and has done academic archeological work in Scandinavia and across the U.S. with a specialization in the native peoples of the Texas coast. An avid auto-didact, Travid has interests in the Germanic language family, the technologies of pre-industrial people, the history of working-class emancipation, and new art and media that explores the experience of wonder in the human situation. He also was one of the core organizers for an event called Rojava Strong that was covered by Non Serviam Media.
