She is the founder of her own Made in Italy womenswear brand called after her since 2017. Since 2015 she is a professional consultant for fashion brands; she started with three big names in NYC when she moved there after graduating from Accademia Costume e Moda in Roma. Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, and Kate Spade are the ones that let her seen all the three levels of fashion: ready-to-wear (streetwear specifically), high pert couture, and commercial. During her last year in University, she worked as the personal couturier of the diplomatic family Terracciano, designing and producing the clothes for the Italian ambassador in London, Karen Terracciano, for occasions like the Tea Party of the Queen and Christmas Dinner with the Royal family. Leda has always been very open-minded and, in 2019, decided to prove herself and bring the consultations to another level. That's why Maelle App, the company founded with her two partners in Milano and NYC, is her mission in life and work. Maelle App, Dubai, 2021, allows all small and medium brands with a limited budget to invest in guidelines and skills to be profitable and save money in 1:1 consultations.
