In this episode you’ll meet Nastassia Johnson known as Los Angeles’ most trusted source for all things dessert! As one of the most popular dessert-focused Instagram influencers, Nastassia has become a familiar face on the internet and beyond, having been featured by Popsugar, Buzzfeed, Tasting Table, and KTLA morning news, where she has a regular segment covering LA’s dessert scene.
In addition to running some of LA’s most beloved restaurants over the last decade, she is also a serial entrepreneur in the food space. She founded the influential dessert blog Let Me Eat Cake in 2009, co-founded LA’s first Filipino food truck The Manila Machine in 2010, and co-founded NLA Consulting in 2016, which has provided insight and support for many of LA’s top restaurants.
Nastassia Johnson has a wealth of restaurant industry experience from management and business development to branding, marketing and digital strategy. What started as a passion project has manifested into a career – Nastassia eats cake like it is her job (because it is)!!
